Madhya Pradesh · Ongoing scheme; confirm the current district trip notice
Eligibility
Madhya Pradesh domicile and non-income-taxpayer status are required. The standard minimum age is 60 for men and 58 for women. A person with disability above 60% is exempt from the age condition. Where one spouse qualifies, the other may accompany despite being below the normal age. Applicants need medical certification of fitness for the journey. Groups may apply together with a leader, up to 25 people.
Travel and package
The state-funded arrangement includes special-train travel, refreshments, meals, drinking water, accommodation and local bus travel where required, organised through IRCTC. Destinations and seats are set for each notified journey.
Companions
The department permits a caregiver for eligible travellers above 65 and persons with disability above 60%; confirm companion documents and allocation in the current notice.
Application process and documents
Use the Hindi application form linked by the department. Ask the district administration, tehsil, Janpad Panchayat or urban local body about the current journey, submission dates, domicile and age evidence, income-tax declaration, medical certificate and companion requirements. The district portal describes an office-entry system restricted to the government SWAN network; it is not a public self-service booking portal.
Application window and selection
This is standing scheme information. No particular departure, seat or open application deadline is claimed here. Apply only against the current district notice and its selection conditions.
